How Does It Work?
Heparin is an anticoagulant. On the skin, it limits further clotting in the small vessels and calms the swelling around them. Benzyl nicotinate opens those vessels a little, so the area feels warm and looks slightly flushed. Better local flow helps the bruise fade. Neither salt reaches a clot deep in the leg the way an injection would.
Directions For Use
Use only as your doctor advises.
Wash and dry the skin.
Spread a thin layer. Massage gently. Do not grind it into a painful vein.
Use it on unbroken skin only.
Wash your hands after, unless the hands are the treated area.
Keep it off the eyes, nose, and mouth. Rinse well if it gets in.
Do not wrap the spot in a tight bandage unless your doctor says so.
