You can purchase over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, health supplements, personal care products, and other FMCG essentials without a prescription. However, some drugs that are marked as “Rx” require you to upload a valid prescription from a certified doctor. This process is in place to ensure your safety and compliance with Indian medical regulations.
We support a wide range of payment options, including UPI, credit/debit cards, netbanking, e-wallets, and even EMI options for high-value carts. For transaction safety, we have PCI-DSS-compliant gateways and encrypted transactions.

Typical delivery timelines depend on your location and the order size. Orders from metro cities and Tier 2-3 cities are dispatched within 24 hours and will reach you within 1-2 business days (after dispatch). However, orders from remote locations may take a bit longer than that. We provide a real-time estimated time of arrival on the checkout page for your PIN code.
For FMCG and non-medicine products, unopened packs may be returned within the eligible time period. Due to strict healthcare regulations, medicines once sold cannot be returned. However, we do accept returns in these cases:
- Wrong product delivered
- Damaged or tampered packaging
- Near/expired medicines
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an SMS, WhatsApp message, and email confirmation with a tracking link. You can also track your order directly in your Direct Dawai account dashboard. Our live tracking feature shows you when the order is packed, dispatched, and out for delivery.
Yes, you can cancel an order before it is dispatched. However, orders cannot be cancelled once they are shipped due to regulatory guidelines. To cancel an order-
- Go to My Orders in your account
- Select the order and click on Cancel My Order
- If the order was prepaid, a refund will be processed within 3-5 business days
